VR is virtual reality. He is a computer scientist who creates virtual worlds for different groups of people. He has worked for Disney and many other video game companies. Do you think you would like to have that job?
Did you hear what he said about "not setting the bar?" He means that sometimes, teachers have a certain set of expectations. Students rise to the level of expectation. You have taught me the same lesson this year. I learned this year that the students at East are capable of ANYTHING. If I "set the bar" you all continually do more than I expect...

I don't think I would like to have a VR job because I don't like video games and I think they are a useless waste of time. Next year you should expect the kids to be hard to deal with at first. After awhile, they will learn how to work above and beyond. Next year, I expect work to be harder after awhile and for us to have a lot more work. The fifth graders next year, will probably end up doing work that is just above and beyond. They will work so hard because they know how hard you work for them and how much you believe in them. I remember that my cousin was expecting to hate middle school so much. Now she loves it and she can't wait to see what seventh grade holds in store for her. Life can be suprising and at times when you least expect it, you will be suprised. The whole world is suprised almost everyday because of the changes in the world and what people are doing nowadays because of technology and what we have created as a big, huge family. Al we hav done has an effect on the world and your expectations really take a big part in making things improve.

Dear Mr. Moore,
For next year, you should expect us to be able to blow your mind away, and to be able to do division facts in under 2 minutes, because you and Ms. VanderVelde have been two awesome teachers, have taught us how to put ourselves into the characters shoes to be able to see both pints of view, and both of you have been really great with encouraging us to learn our facts, by telling us that life will be much easier if we know them like we know our name.
For next year, I expect to have the smarrt board and the little laptops in classes because we have shown as 5th graders that we can be trusted on the computers, and that they have been a big part of our path to success with our writing.
I think that next years fifth graders will be able to have the same expierience that we have had and I think that they will be able to go to Cal-Wood and feel the nature air and all the surprises that it can throw at you.

I'll answer the questions.
I think I will enjoy this job. But I think it'll be more fun to experience the VR world. I would make it so you would meet celebrities. A LOT of girls would like that-I would.
I think you shouldn't expect next year's fifth graders to be PERFECT, so I don't think you should get your hopes up. But do know that they are good students, but they might do things that might disappoint you. The thing I want to say is, "Nobody's perfect."
What do you expect for next year in middle school? I expect fabulous lockers, and a new, cool schedule. But I also expect loads of homework and bullies. I also expect to be nervous, nervous for the brand new things that are awaiting me.
I think next year's fifth graders will probably do all the things WE did, but I think there will be more cool projects to do. Such as making videos to post on the blog. Maybe chat with kids around the world, with their pen pal. That'll be cool. It kind of makes me jealous. Well, I hope they will have a good time and enjoy 5th grade, just like I did.

The answer to the first question is yes. I would like to have the job that some of the people have. I would like to work for a video game company because I think that we would get a lot of business and since I like video games maybe I would be able to make a video game.

I would like to have that computer job because I like video and stuff like that. I think that you should expect us to live up to are expectations that some of us told you and promised that we would do. I expect that middle school will be fun and scary. The reason I say that it is going to be scary is that the rumors and television that say that they will put someone in a locker but I am not worried about that because my teacher says that that stuff is no true so that was also the happy part.

I think the are going to be similar to the class of 2008 through 2009.The second question you had was what do we think of middle school next year. Everybody thinks it would be scary. I do not think that I would want to be a VR because I do not think that I would like to create virtual worlds, but if I would be working with computers I would be creating new programs for computers. I think that you should expect a lot from the new fifth graders because they have had time to work with the computers so, they have already gotten through the easy stuf so now you can get right into that hard stuf that we started learning in about the middle of the year.

I will expect middle school to be so much different from elementary school because we won't have as much activities as we do now, such as field day and recess. I think that the teachers for next year, are going to set the bar even higher but I believe that we are capable of anything and that we will jump over the bar and we will need to be set a higher expectation than that one. I really do believe that we will have some new challenges on the way and that we might not even have experienced it before. I really do think that we have brought a new level of kids that we will be the kids to be the best. We want to be the next kids of the century and we are the kids of the future.
One thing that you should expect for next year is that they should be able to be as good as we were because I think that we should be as good as the kids who are in 6th grade right now. I think that you should set the bar as high as you did for us. Like I said we are expected to do something we do it and we need for someone to. I think that the kids next year dont know whats coming because they don't know what is going to happen perhaps their teacher might put things easyer or they might do thing harder than they did for us and for me that would be very lucky because the more you learn the better it is going to help you in life and I don't want to end up somewhere that I didn't want to be.

I can answer your question, 'What do you expect for next year in middle school ?' I expect many things in middle school, but here are a few things that I expect. One thing that I expect is having some teachers that I like and some teachers that I don't really like. I know this because my sister has some teachers that she likes a lot and she also has some teachers that she doesn't like. I technically only have two teachers and I like them both. In middle school you usually have more then two or three teachers and there is more of a chance that I won't like them.

I think that you should expect great effort next year because in fifth grade fifth graders worked really hard and they tried there best. I also think that you expect that we try our best and that we learn new things. I expect to do a good job on all the subjects and I also expect that I learn new things that I did not know when I came to sixth grade. I think that fifth graders will do really cool things like dissecting a cows eye and a pigs heart. I also think that fifth graders will learn about what we did. I think the fifth graders next year will do somethings that we do now and also somethings that we didn't do this year. I know that they are going to Cal-Wood, they are going on the surprise field trip at the end of the year, and they are having field day. I think that you expect for next year is of course another group of students. But what you should also expect next year, are more kids of the future. They will also be like us. But, the only thing different is that they will be you 2nd 5th grade class that both you and Ms. V will teach.
I expect next year to be very different. We will have totally different lunch and also, we have to walk to different classes. We will also have lockers instead of backpacks. Next year will be nothing like elementary school.

Dear Future 5th graders,
If you think it's all fun and games in 5th grade well think again. You work hard and learn new things. Learning is fun but if you don't your not going to be able to pass 5th grade you will just be laghfed at and made fun of. So I recomend you stand up and work hard for your school and friends. Work hard and stay in school so you don't get left behind.
