Reflection

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I read a magazine called Edutopia. It is a magazine about "what works in public education." The founder of the magazine is George Lucas. (The guy who created Star Wars!) The magazine also has a blog!

What does the word reflection mean to you? I just read this blog post where reflection was defined as "The mind's strongest glue."

What does that make you think about?

In the post I just read on their blog, the author, Suzie Boss, talks about how students need time to reflect about what they learn. In one instance, they describe a classroom where there is a "Video Confessional" room so students can go in and video tape their reflections about what they are learning.
