Ladies and Gentlemen,
East has been featured in the Rocky Mountain News. After you read the article, there is a place for your comments on the website. Do not use your name if you comment. Here is the link to the article.
Here is a related article, with some pictures from East. This second article is mostly about test scores. You can compare CSAP scores and school report cards (yes, East gets a report card) with other schools, districts and grade levels here. If you are interested in scores from kids your own age, look at 4th grade scores. (It takes a while to get CSAP scores, and remember, you haven't taken CSAP as 5th graders... yet!) You won't be able to see your own individual CSAP scores on the website, but you can look at East's 4th grade scores from last year as a big group.
Here is East's report card. It is interesting! First, it claims that we have 56 total students enrolled at East, and then it says that there are 96 students for every staff member. Finally it claims that there are 9.4 students for each teacher in fifth grade. How is this possible? Do you believe everything you read in the newspaper?
And last but not least, a link to some extra pictures.

Dear Mr. Moore,
I'm very excited and happy that East and the students are on the newspaper. But I am also disappointed since I'm not in any of the pictures. My brother was even there! But not me.... On the other hand, it's funny how the news on the website is wrong. The most funniest part was when they spelled your name 'Ben Michaelson.'
Sincerely,
Narah
