Mrs. Bolerjack and I had the opportunity to write a grant application for an interactive classroom technology grant offered by the Morgridge Family Foundation. The grant was written specifically for complete interactive 21st Century Classroom Toolkits which you can see here. To read more about the SMART Technologies, please check this link.
Additionally, the grant could be written for a team of teachers and classrooms. The stipulation was that the group of teachers had to work collaboratively. We wrote the grant for the fifth grade team including the computer lab. This means that I wrote the grant for 3 complete toolkits. Today, we found out that the grant was awarded to East!
We are one of 5 Littleton Schools to receive this award. We are the only elementary school to receive the funding from Littleton Public Schools. There were 88 applications from Littleton Public Schools, and there were 24 other organizations that had teams complete the grant application. Our award totaled $16,542.00.
We want to say thank you to all the people in LPS who support technology in so many different ways.
