Ladies and Gentlemen,
This post will take three days to complete. Today is Wednesday, and the comment for this post is due by the end of the class period on Friday. Each student in the fifth grade will need to post their own comment.
You will be using a tool that you have not used before. It's called Trackstar. It will guide you through a series of websites. Each website will have some notes at the top from your teachers. You can navigate using a menu on the left of each website. (We'll show you how this works in class before you get started.)
Please remember to take some great notes as you study. You will be able to use your notes when you write your comment for this post.
As you move through the Trackstar, feel free to take your time and ask questions as you go. Your teachers will be around to help and answer questions as you work.
Once you have taken notes and spent a couple of days learning, you will spend the last day drafting your comment. Your comment needs to prove that you know what the three documents are. Your comment needs to demonstrate that you understand why the documents are important. Your comment needs to let the world know that you have really pushed your thinking. You can use the "Pushing Your Thinking" chart from writer's workshop to help you as you draft your comment.

Dear Ms.V & Mr.Moore,
All of the documents are important because they each at the time gave each gave America
new laws to follow so Great Britin would not take over America. Another reason these documents are important is because if we did not have them our country would not be free to this day it would have been ruled by Great Britin.
I think that the most important part of each of the documents is the parts that give the United States of America it's freedom and fair laws.
I think our country would be different if we did not have these documents because if we did not have each document our country would still be being ruled by so called Queen Elizabeth and her soldiers.
If I was one of the people who wrote one of documents it would have been hard to concentrate with all of the battles that would be happening at that time for America's freedom and America's fair laws and to make there only be things taxed that are not for every day things. But at that time I would wish that America had already been free so so many people could live to see tomorrow. But they sacrafised them selves to save America from it's doom and if that did not happen then to this day Great Britin would be controlling the way we do EVERYTHING in life. So many people would still die to make America free and to have no unfair laws to follow such as the British laws of prosperity.But sense so many soldiers died for America, now America can be free to be it self in any way shape or form.

We all navigated through trackstar.com and found out a ton of information. We recorded all of the information on sheets of paper called a Note Catcher. Here's my data that I recently collected.
The first idea was, The Declaration of Independence. It was important because, the people stopped the government from taxing important items. The most important fact was, the colonists fought for their freedom, and, they got it. Without it, we would still being paying taxes on tea, and stamps, and all the other items that got taxed. The new thing I learned was, Britain thought they couldn't help. Another new thing I learned was, that Thomas Jefferson was the main author of Declaration of Independence.

The Declaration of Independence was a cry for freedom. People had a cry for freedom because this would make them have freedom. When people had a cry for freedom they aloud them to have freedom. This was important because if the Americans didn't have freedom they were forced to pay for taxes. The British and King George The Third made them do this. The British worked for King George The Third. If didn't have the cry for freedom today we wouldn't have freedom, in the United States of America. I learned that King George The Third and the British were making too much laws.
The Article of Confederation was the first system created on November 15,1777. This became the ruling document in the nation. This was also about freedom. If Americans didn't have The Article of Confederation on we wouldn't have friendship today. The reason that this was important because Americans wanted to be treated fair, like the British. This also went with the freedom because this document lead people to be treated fairly. Today I learned that this was the first system created in our world. This article was important to especially Americans, because they wanted to stop paying taxes.
The United States Constitution responded to questions in the Article of Confederation. This document was signed in Philadelphia, Pennyslvania on September 17,1787. This was ten years after the Article of Confederation. If our state didn't have the constitution it wouldn't respond to questions in the Article of Confederation. Today I learned that the New Federal Government was in the year 1789. This was two years after the United States Constitution. This was important because we needed to have freedom in the United States of America.

I think that these documents are important because it talks about how Americans got their freedom. I think that the most important part of each document is what happened because it gives the main point. If these documents were never created we wouldn't have freedom and all people wouldn't be treated fair. I have learned many new things about The Declaration of Independence, The Article of Confederation, and The United States Constitution. It would be awesome if I signed a document like these because everyone could remember me by something important I did in history.

Declaration of Independance
The Declaration of Independence was important because it gave America freedom. Before we had the Declaration of independence we were ruled by the British. The British were taxing the U.S colonist. The British were taxing the colonist on sugar and paper. These were everyday things that the colonist needed to use. When the colonist got taxed for paper, it was called the Stamp Act. When we got taxed for sugar, it was called the Sugar Act. The colonist didn't like being taxed for the British solders. The colonist then decide to make the Declaration of Independence for their own freedom. The most important part about the Declaration of independence is it gave freedom for the colonist and didn't have to be ruled by the British. Without the Declaration of independence we would still be ruled by the the British. There would also be a bad life for most people. Even though we we still have to pay taxes for everything it doesn't go to the British solders. We now tax for the U.S for the people who have work and get payed. What I learned new was that the Declaration of independence started the Revolutionary War along with the Shot Heard Round the World.
Article of Confederation
The Article of Confederation was important because after the Revolutionary War the U.S colonist were no longer controlled by the British. They knew that they needed a government. The colonist thought of making the Article of Confederation. The article of Confederation mainly said that they no longer can be controlled by any other country. And from that point on, we have had a government for many years now. The most important part about the Article of Confederation is it gave us a government. Without the Articles of Confederation, we would not have a government. Something new that I learned was mainly everything I just wrote about in this paragraph. I never even heard about the Articles of Confederation until now.
United States Constitution
The United States Constitutions was important because it approved for the United States of America to have a government. The people that signed the Constitution were the members of the Constitutional Convention. The Constitution followed in the Articles of Confederation. The Article of Confederation was just a draft for having a government. The government now has three branches. Those branches are the executive, legislative, and judicial branch. The most important part about the United States constitution was that it got us a government. Without the United States Constitution we wouldn't have got an approved government. We would also have to much freedom. For example, whenever anyone did any crime they would not be punished for it. Also, there would be way to many wild things going on in the U.S. I am glad that we have a government and that the Constitution was made. What I learned new was that the United States constitution we wouldn't have an approved government.

As I was reading the articles, I learned a lot of things that I didn't know, and along the way, I felt my brain spinning and thinking. Here are the 3 Historical Documents and explanation about it.
DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE- Many years ago, Americans were under the power of Britain. They hated not being able to protest against a law. Delegates started meeting for that cause. A man named Thomas Paine, an English man who had settled in Pennsylvania in 1774, wrote a pamphlet, telling people that it's time Americans have freedom. Unexpectedly, more than 100,000 copies were sold! Finally after meeting for awhile, the delegates came up with the Declaration of Independence, which allowed the Americans to speak up for themselves.
I personally think that the most important part was when the delegates made the Declaration of Independence, and when it was approved. l bet the Americans were VERY happy.
A new thing I learned was that some colonists wanted the colonies and the British to unite/blend.
In the actual Declaration of Independence, it said many things about King George the Third, and cruel things too, which I think isn't mean because King George himself was very cruel. Here is some of the evidence [facts from the text book, 'United States']: King George the Third of Great Britain's goal was to have entire control over the colonies. King George hadn't allowed important laws passed by his governors,, and he rejected laws that the colonists so desperately needed. Even though he did all this, the colonists waited patiently for a long, long time.
ARTICLES OF CONFEDERATION- After their victory over Europe, the colonists believed that nothing was impossible Many African-Americans who'd fought Britain in the Revolutionary War, asked for their freedom, and surprisingly, got it. Even though the states were independent, they still weren't united. In 1781, the second Continental Congress adopted the Articles of Confederation. Having to live under the British rule, the Americans grew a distrust in the government The Article of Confederation gave most powers to the governments. Under the Articles of Confederation, each state collected its own taxes and printed their own money. Money printed from other states wasn't accepted in a different state, which is common nowadays. Because of the Articles of Confederation, the Congress didn't have enough money to pay the soldiers that had fought in the Revolutionary War. Another law they passed was the the Northwest Ordinance, and it helped the territories turn into states. Fortunately, it didn't allow slavery and they gave new settlers the same rights as the 13 colonies had.
In my opinion, I think the most important part is when the Northwest Ordinance was passed. I mean, don't you think that it's important how the territories turned into states?!
The thing I found interesting was that because of the Articles of Confederation, the Congress had many troubles.

The writers wanted to point out that the people held power in the country. Also, they want any branch of the federal government to become too strong. So they set up a system where the power of one branch of the government is balanced by the powers of another.
It's probably important because the writers of the Constitution had a chance to express how much freedom meant for the Americans and how much freedom the Americans needed.
I think the most important part is when they set up the system of checks & balances, the system I just explained a few paragraphs ago.
Without it, the Americans wouldn't have freedom, and people wouldn't understand how much freedom really meant for the Americans.
A new thing I learned was that the Constitution was partly about equal rights for the Americans.
If I was an author of these documents, I'd be very proud, representing the documents that had changed the life of Americans.

The Declaration of Independence is important because people who lived in Britain could protest and even choose to re-elect lawmakers.The most important part of the Declaration of independence is Early in 1776 while the troops were fighting in the field more delegates were meeting in Philadelphia at second continental congress.Without the declaration of Indepandance we would not have to pay for things such as food papers and sugar.The new thing that I learned about the Declaration of Independence is each new act that was happening such as the sugar act townshend act stamp act and maybe the Boston tea party brought more grief to the Americans.

What I learned is that there were so many documents that were published for the United States.I also learned that they would use 3 branches the legislative the executive branch and judishal. These branches each hold so much power to the United States because if one branch holds more power then the others then the power gets taken away. Dear Miss. V and Mr. Moore,
Here is what I learned in the project of the historical events. This includes “The Declaration of Independence,” “The Articles of Confederation,” and “The United states Constitution.” Each student in both classes did these all and learned new information. I will let you know all the information that I learned.
Declaration of Independence
I have learned that the declaration is important because it let Americans be free from the British. The most important part of this and without it, we wouldn't be free and we will have to pay taxes things like tea and paper from the Stamp act and the Sugar act. Finally, the one thing that I learned was that this was signed to bring freedom from the British.
Articles of Confederation
I have learned that the Articles of Confederation are important because they represent how the country could become better after the British didn't rule it. The most important thing about this is that without it there would be no government or laws and no know would be in trouble for doing bad stuff. The one thing that I learned about this was the the Articles of Confederation was that it built a better government to make the United States a stronger country.
United States Constitution
I learned that the United States Constitution made a new federal government that we have today. What I think that the most important thing about this was the without it we wouldn't have the U.S government that we have today.

If I were the author I would put more purpose in to the articles to show people why they did all that and I would change the Declaration of Independence to a final draft because it had things crossed out .

The declaration of Independence is important because it explains what made it so powerful, tells the details and facts about the colonies and the Britain being separated.
I think is the most important part of the declaration of independence is the following. The people that lived in Brittan could choose to protest for a re-elect lawmakers who voted for taxes. I think this is important because the people that lived in Brittan could say what they thought was right.
Our country would have been different if we didn't haven't these documents is because of the following re to show reasons. First of all, these documents were created to show us why the colonies had to separate from the Great Britain. This means if they had never written these documents, no one would know why the colonies and the Britain had always been away from each other.
The fact I learn new about the declaration of independence is, it was one of the most important documents in human history. It was important because kit was first to set the rights of people.
If I was the author of one of these documents it would be hard because you would need to study a lot and would need to know a lot about that document.
The articles of confederation is important because some how it would serve as a model for creating new territories for over 100 years.
I think the most important about the article of confederation is the following. I think that when money is printed in one state, use can not take it to another state and use it because it wouldn't be accepted. I think this is the most important part of the articles of confederation because, it shows that if you take money to another state it's not worth any more then the state you got it from, that's only because it wouldn't accepted.
Our country would have been different without the articles of confederation because, since it serves a model for territories, we probably wouldn't know as much about territories with it.
I learn something new about the article of confederation that I didn't know before which is the following. I learned that the weaknesses of the confederation created many problems for our country.
If I was the author of the article of confederation I think it would be challenging because you would need to know a lot about territories and I don't.
The constitution of the United States is important for the following reason. It is important because the constitution balances freedom and creates a federal system by power. which leads to the sharing it with other states.

I was reading from the track star website and I found a lot of facts and information. In these paragraphs I will talk about the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation and United States Constitution. Here are my paragraphs about all of these things.
The Declaration of Independence was one of the most important parts of the documents. It was important because the Declaration of Independence caused the war to begin. We fought England. The people in the colonies fought King George the third, they fought so the people from all the different colonies could be independent from the rule of King George the third. It important part of the Declaration of Independence was that after the Declaration of Independence there was a holiday invented and it was called Independence Day. The holiday was really important because that was the day that the Declaration of Independence ended the rule of England. Without the Declaration of Independence we would not celebrate on July 4. That is why we celebrate the fourth of July because on that date John Hancock signed it and he agreed. Another reason that we celebrate the fourth of July because July fourth is the date on the Declaration of Independence. On July 4 it is Independence Day and there would not be fire works exploding in the sky for friends and family to notice that it is a very important day for the president. Something new I learned from the Declaration of Independence is the holiday that they invented after the Declaration of Independence ended. This is what I found from the website and the text book. The Articles of Confederation was an important document also. It was important because the Articles of Confederation represented the first constitution. One of the most important parts of the Articles of Confederation got invented by a friendship and union. One thing that we would not have if the Articles of Confederation did not happen is the thirteen American states that were the American states back then. Something new learned is that back then there were thirteen American states. I have never heard that there were thirteen American states when there was the Articles of Confederation. I found my information from books and a website, here goes the next paragraph about the Declaration of Independence.
The Constitution of the United States was really important to any people. It is really important because the United States Constitution helped us have peace, justice and liberty. One of the most important parts of the United States Constitution was that if people were twenty five years old they could represent the United States Constitution. One thing we would not have if the United States Constitution is peace, justice and liberty on earth. Something new that I learned from the United States Constitution is that people under the age of twenty five years old could not represent the United States Constitution. To be in all of these important documents is hard. It is hard because in all of the important documents you have to work for hours and the only thing you do is make yourself feel very tired. I think that it would not be fun to be in all the of important documents because if you work for a lot of hours then it would be very hard to go see your family often. I think that the Declaration of Independence was a serious cry for help and freedom. I think put down taxes a let them be free or something like that. The Articles of Confederation was a written to keep thing in tip top shape. The Articles of Confederation got adopted by the Second Continental Congress. without this document we may probably be out of order and go acting crazy. I think that the Declaration of Independence is important because it gave the Colonists freedom and the ability to speak out for themselves. The Colonists believed the the British Parliament was taking away too many of their freedoms so, they created the Declaration of Independence. I think that the most important part of this document was the First sentence of the second paragraph. I talks about the basic certain ideas that everyone agrees on, for example, people have the right to live, to be free, and to seek happiness. I think that without it we would not be free and we would still be ruled by Brittan, and we would have to follow specific rules and laws. I did not know that Thomas Jefferson was born in 1743 and died in 1826.
The Articles of Confederation represent the first constitutional agreement made between the 13 American states. I think that the most important part of the Articles of Confederation is the second article. The second article talks about how every state retains it's freedom, independence, jurisdiction, and rights. Without it I think that we would not have a strong central government. I did not know that the Second Continental Congress adopted the Articles of Confederation in 1781.
I think that the United States Constitution is important is important because it protects individual liberties. I think that the most important part of the United States Constitution is the Preamble. The Preamble explains that the people of the United States made the Constitution for many reasons. Some reasons that we made the Constitution was because we wanted to form a stronger and more united nation, to insure peace, justice, to defend it's citizens, and to improve the lives of it's people.
If I was the author of these documents I would be very proud of myself. If I were to be alive today I would try to make other documents that would let other countries be free just like us. I would also go back and edit the Constitution and make the Amendments clearer and give examples of how they would be applied. For example, Amendment #4 it is the Freedom from Unreasonable Search and Seizure. It states that people are protected against unreasonable arrests and searches of their homes and property. To search a persons home or property the government must get a search warrant describing what place is to be searched and what items are expected to be found. If a neighbor reports someone having a shotgun and using it inappropriately and the cops come and have a search warrant saying that they are looking for a gun and they go in and don't find a gun but instead find a 500 pound bomb, wouldn't you still want your neighbor arrested even though thats not what they said on their search warrant. This is where the Supreme Court comes into play. The Supreme Court takes cases and puts them against the Constitution of the United States. This is why I said I would go back and tell how the Amendments would be applied and how they would be used.

The reason we selebrate independants day is because July 4th was the day we became indipendence. The Declaration of Independence was important because without it the colonist and us wouldn't have our freedom because if that wasn't there we like right know we would belong to the British.On the other hand the most important part was when the colonist created their own freedom because that freedom they created was for all the people that belong to the British not only them because the people that live back then had to fight for there freedom.In addition without the colonist fighting the Brithish we wouldn't have the Declaration of Independence and our freedom because right know war will still going on and more person dying and dying each day.When this Revolutionary War started it wasn't even a year because is like it started right away.On the other hand the people that were involed in the Revolutionary War were the Colonist,Brithish,and the American Croops but the American Croops and the Brithish were togethere against the Colonist that means that the colonist were alone fighting against two groups that wanted the colonist not to have there freedom.In addition after the war was finish on July 4 the colonist finally were free from the British and the American Croops that means that the 13 colonist did won the war against the two groups.That was my work about the Declaration of Independence.

I started on this post and there were many new things that I learned. I didn't know about the Articles of Confederation which is pretty amazing considering it's importance.
The United States Constitution is important because it guaranteed our freedom from England and other countries who ruled the U.S. The most important part of the Constitution is that it has our first amendment which made the laws to start us on our journey to the new technology and our freedom so we can live the way we do today. Without it, we wouldn't live in an orderly way with the freedom we have now. I learned that it was created for the United States to have our freedom and to create most of our first laws. One new thing I learned is when people say, “Can I have your John Hancock?” they are asking you for your signature because John Hancock signed the Constitution.
The Articles of Confederation are important because the Americans needed a new system so they could run the new country. The most important part about the Articles of Confederation is that we used them to build the foundation of this new country. Without it, the law wouldn't allow us to change laws and other things in order to improve. Something I learned about the Articles of Confederation is that it was a new system for the United States.

In these two paragraphs, I am going to talk about the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, and last but not least, the United Sates Constitution. All of these are the most important things that have ever been written in history. I hope that you learn a lot about these important things.
The Declaration of Independence was important because it gave America freedom. Before we had the Declaration of independence we were ruled by the British. The British were taxing the U.S colonist. The British were taxing the colonist for sugar and paper. These were everyday things that the colonist needed to use. When the colonist got taxed for paper, it was called the Stamp Act. When we got taxed for sugar, it was called the Sugar Act. The colonist didn't like never in.Taxes and tat they were paying to help a war that they were taxing for the British solders. The colonist then decide to make the Declaration of Independence for their own freedom. The most important part about the Declaration of independence is it gave freedom for the colonist and didn't have to be ruled by the British or any other country. Without the Declaration of independence we would still be ruled by the the British. Or we might be ruled by some other country. There would also be a bad life for most people. For example, in these days we pay axes to help the U.S. Even though we we still have to pay taxes for everything it doesn't go to the British solders. What I learned new was that the Declaration of independence started the Revolutionary War along with the Shot Heard Round the World.

One of the most important things that I learned was that the Articles of the Confederation were finally ratified by the last of the 13 American States. (That is also part of the most important things) I think that this is important because without it people wouldn't get along.
United States Constitution:
My new learning about the United States Constitution was that the Constitution was eventually ratified by the new Federation. Without the United States Constitution none of the colonists would have been free from slavery (This also goes for: This is important). One of the most important parts was that after four months a secret debate was established.

I have learned many interesting. These three document, The Declaration of Independence, The Articles of Consideration and The Constitution. The Declaration of Independence is important because it was the first to set out rights and responsibilities of people in democracy and the British got mad ant started a war. The Articles of Confederation are important because it was the first Constitution. Also because it was approved in November 1,1781 but was done by all 13 states in March 1, 1781. The Constitution is important because it balances freedom and power by creating federal system of government says the text book. This are why this documents are important.
The most important of the Declaration of In Independence is A declaration of Rights its all about how we are all equal for there creator. I think that this is important because it's true we are all the same, no matter where you're from we are all the same. The fourth of July is a holiday because the Declaration of Independence was the date that it was writen. The most important of the Articles of Confederation is a legacy, the Northwest Ordinance, it also served as a model to create new territories for more then a 100 years. Americans concluded that the U.S. needed a stronger government . The third important document is the constitution. The most important is the the government unites the states while sharing power with them.
Without these document we would have no freedom we wouldn't have power to do or say anything or wear anything you want or also go we ever you want we are lucky to have the Declaration of Independence or the Articles of Confederation or the Constitution.

All of the historical documents are important. The Declaration of Independence is important because it marks the point in history that the U.S. gained its freedom and became independent and became its own country. This document is important because it marks all our independence and some rights as a country. The most important part to me is “A Declaration of Rights” which states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” in other words, “We believe that everyone on certain basic ideas: All people are created equal and they have basic rights that can never be taken away. People have the right to live, the right to be free, and the right to seek happiness.” I got the simplified version from the text book: United States, Adventures in time And Place. I believe this part is the most important because it states that we are able to search for happiness and that everyone has the same rights.
The Articles of Confederation is the first piece of constitution in the U.S. This piece of history is important because it is what our first government depended on. This constitution to run this nation until The Constitution of the United States was written. This constitution wasn't the best one either because it gave each state the freedom of making its own money and starting wars. This meant that the government couldn’t do anything if something went wrong. The government could not pay the people who fought in the Revolutionary War.
Another important historical document is The Constitution of The United States. The most important part to me is the preamble. This is the most important part to me because it explains the whole constitution. It states what the constitution was written for.

For the first time in 6 years, I am actually excited and cant wait for social studies time to come. As I was on Trackstar reading about the Declaration of Independence, I realized that it may just be some words written on paper, but the Declaration is really important. For example, if we didn't have the declaration of Independence, we would still be living like the colonists, under taxes on the most important things, like sugar and molasses. Also, we would still have slaves and we wouldn't have any freedom to be who we are.
To add on to my comment, I would like to say that for me, the most important part of the developing of the declaration, is when it was written and signed. I think this is important because if somebody didn't stand up and fight for the freedom of the colonists, help them find their voice and speak up, we, America today, would still be controlled by the stamp act, and the sugar act.
I used to think that the Declaration of independence was just some law written by some guy, but now I'm realizing that without it, we would be nearly homeless, not being able to pay taxes, but forced to. To add on,I learned that the Declaration of Independence was written because of the intolerable acts, which unlike the other acts, worked the opposite way. Since the intolerable acts helped people, the Declaration of independence was written to help the intolerable acts work, and make a free nation. This connects with the slavery in the South, when they would sell black people to white people, and they would make them work, and they would take away their freedom. They didn't have the declaration of independence, but they did have the Big Dipper to help guide them to freedom. I think this is important because the Big Dipper wasn't God that can come down and fly them to freedom, but like the Declaration of Independence, which was a piece of paper with some words and signature, but it's really helpful in it's own way, and it got the colonists their freedom.
As I was reading about the Articles of confederation, I was trying to find the most important thing about it, but I was stuck, so I used my brain, and I came up with this: the Article of Confederation is important because it was a role model for the other governments, and it was mainly a role model for about 100 new territories. The Articles of Confederation was a replacement for the government when it needed a stronger one.
I think that the most important part of the Articles of Confederation, is when to made a law stating that a woman's voice should be heard, and that they should have an opinion, because they are just as capable of doing anything a man is. I think that this is important because if this law hadn't come around, the woman would still be sitting around in the house, cleaning the man's mess, while the man is out having fun, and hanging out with his friends. Personally, i think that if the woman weren't in charge of the house, they would weigh about 9,000 pounds!
The United States Constitution was important because it gave Americans and the colonists the freedom to say their part, and the people who wrote the constitution had put themselves in the colonists shoes, to be able to see things from their point of view, and be able to speak up for them when they didn't have the courage to stand up and say, “You know what? You are not treating us fairly, and we deserve the same rights that you have.” i think that the most important part of the constitution is when the guys who wrote the constitution made the government give the Americans the freedom to have checks and balances, so that they could keep their money for themselves, and buy what things they need, instead of throwing all their money to King George, and have him throw it all away at the war. Without the constitution, their would be no banks, where everyone was free to come and deposit their own money and be able to come and get it out and spend how they want any time, and any where.
I think that each document that was written was important because if it hadn't been for the documents and the people who wrote them, we would be living a life of pure torture. For example, if the Declaration of independence wasn't written, we would still be living like slaves, paying the taxes that King George the third set, even though he is dead. I think that the most important parts of each document, is when it is written, because if they were never written, we wouldn't be free! I think that each country would be effected if there was no documents the same way, because, first of all, again, if there was no document, there would be no Freedom!
If I were the author of these documents, I would feel so full of joy and excitement, but at the same time, I would feel scared. For example, I would feel joy and excitement because I know that I had helped out about millions of people, but I would also be scared because the people who had worked so hard to cause the pain and misery for all the people, would be angry at me, because I had helped the king's prisoners escape his awful hold on them, and another reason I would probably pee my pants because of how scared I am, would be because the king has an army under his control, and they would probably hunt me down.
I think that our country would be hit hard by slavery, and the war if we never created these documents, because it was these documents that had helped bring America to it's feet when we were still slaving away, and being taxed on everything in the world
Many people think that the documents alone did all the work, but I think that the documents were only a part of the path to freedom, because before the documents were even written, there were people on the other side of the world, helping the people who were in need. That is what I call a trustworthy friend....

The most important part is that a good talented writer helped ripen the fruit of the Independence without it there would still be paying taxes to England. I learned that Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence.

First of all I would like to say that if I wrote the declaration of independence, I would be the most proud person in the world without exaggerating because I didn't just needed to do the Declaration of Independence but because I wanted to do it and because I chose to do this and I anted to help some one out and not just do it because I needed or because I was forced to write it its almost as if you don't write it with purpose or with feeling and if you don't wit something with feeling it doesn't really mean anything to you.
I think that the most important thing about the declaration of Independence is the part where it gives you the freedom of doing what ever you want and not to follow someones orders where if you don't do something that you might be killed or be thrown in a dungeon, witch I think is important because without that we wouldn't be able to have that much of an opinion as much as we do today.
Something I didn't know about the Declaration of Independence was what led to the revolutionary war was that the Americans wanted to boycott the British goods. It wasn't even a year after the that the revolutionary war started after the laws were made.
The second document was the Articles of Confederation. Some thing that I did not know was that it was a very important document. I have never heard of this document but I really like it because that is what gave freedom to the slaves and I think that that is the most important part of all or else we too would be having slaves and we wouldn't have that much variety in school. I think that overall the documents my favorite one would have to be this one the Articles of confederation because I would feel bad if I were the one who had to be the slave and that you too would feel like you would brake the law just to get freedom even though you're not left with any food. If I were the one who wrote this document I would be so proud of myself and others because I alone did not rite it but with the help of other people too and with their support it was possible that it could be passed out and that it too could be part of the three documents. I would feel so astonished that it was passed out I wouldn't believe it.
For me the most important part was the place where it gives the freedom to the slaves and that way every body gets treated the same way and equally where there is no higher standard where someone gets treated at a higher rate. What surprises me the most is that I didn't even know that it was a document and it turns out that it is my favorite document.
The Third documents is Constitution and I think that the most important part is that it got signed by someone witch is the Conventional Constitution and that gave us the permission to actually have the freedom and how we were treated at the same rate and equally to. If I wrote it I would feel like if I where to be the most happiest person in the world. I'm not that familiar with the constitution and I think that if I study more. I think that by the way that these acts are I really like the I mean who wouldn't like freedom?
Like I said I have heard if this document but I don't know that much about it so I think that it would be great if I study and learn more about the constitution.

Important because at the moment there was a war that was going on and this made Americans feel confident to fight for something. The most important pat of this is th people who made it the people were John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson (The main author), R.R. Livingston, and Roger Sherman. This was important because it was a plan that would be our government. This was important because it said that every single person man, woman, young, old, black, or white would be treated the same way no mater what. Most important part of this document is when it was a sign that everyone would be treated equally. Without the it the whites would get all the respect while the other darker colored skin people would be like slaves. What I learned was that it is a symbol of freedom and that it talks about the tree branches and how a law is made
If I were the author of one of these documents I would be proud of my work. But, I would have been under so much pressure that I would get sick or maybe even die. I am kind of glad that I did not have to write any of these documents.

I think that this the Declaration of Independence is important because it was about the British living in America and they had a lot of British people moving in to America at the same time so it was hard to make up the laws or else if the British did not agree they might get into a war.That is what I think it is important. And if the Americans did not write the Declaration of Independence then the British would steel be trying to make up all of the laws.The British were making all of the laws and Americans got tired of it and finally decided to make the Declaration of Independence.This was a very important piece of history.

The Articles of confederation were very important because once the declaration of Independence was written then the British got mad and they started a war because of it.And we faught in that war.We won the war and after we did we wrote the Articles of confederation.But probably if we did not write the Declaration of Independence we would not have even written the Articles of Independence because the British got mad cause of the Declaration and then we went to war because of it and we would not have went to war if we did not write the Declaration and we wrote the Articles of confederation after the war was won.I think that maybe we would steel be living by British laws if we had never written the Declaration.If we had never wrote the articles of confederation then we would not have written the American Constitution.

We wrote the Constitution because after we were free to do what we wanted to do their was no laws.So the Constitution is a book of laws. We needed this because with out it people could do what they wanted to do and do bad things.The person who wrote the constitution his name was James Madison wrote word by word of the constitution.He had went back to revise plenty of times.This was new to me I found most of my work in the United States Adventures in time and place book.Another reason why we wrote the constitution was so that we could have our own set of laws.Nothing can ever take away none of the rules now that they are written down in the constitution.

In the Declaration of Independence was really important because in that time there was all these taxes that king George demanded. Then the British was force to leave since the colonist wanted freedom and so they did. The most important thing is when the declaration was approved it would be sent to th e Continental Army and to the cities and towns. If we didn't have the Declaration of Independence all of the people in the world will still be paying the taxes and we wouldn't have freedom. I learned that the document was to explain that the colonies had to be separated from the Britain. And that Benjamin Franklin hoped that the colonist would make peace for once. I also learned that when the declaration was done the British were mad and started a war with the colonist.
The Articles of Confederation are important because Abigail Adams was thinking about change and so it probably happened because lots have changed because Know we have a black American president. The most important thing is that the articles up our Central Government. And if we didn't have it we wouldn't have a government and there will be no change. I learned that the women Abigail wanted the women to be noticed.
The United States Constitution is important because thats when these important people signed it for the freedom we needed. I think the most important thing is that it says that now any women can do what the men do. With out it we wouldn't have freedom at all because the untied states would still be like it was a long time ago. I learned that we the people meant that like all of the people in the united states because when we started this I thought that the people that signed it.

I did a lot of research for this work named historical documents I got a few vocabulary hers my first word it was amend – To change the wording or meaning of motion Bill, constitution or other stuff.

Bill of rights – the first amendment broke with the tradition in many countries that made on religion the established (official) church and supported it with government funds. The bill of rights is very important. Cause it protects important ideas. It protects your right to say what you want.

Another thing I discovered was that the French were fighting alone while the other ones had help from the north Americans (Indians). So the Indians won the war. I am going to tell you about the declaration of independence. The declaration of independence is important because it was like a new born baby. It is our new country. The declaration of independence was also important because it was a important law (kind of) that has its own rights and responsibilities. This reminds me of us humans. This reminds me of us humans because we have a lot of responsibilities ourselves. For example, our parents have responsibilities like paying taxes, getting groceries and many other responsibilities too. When you have to do these things it's hard just like the declaration of independence, you have to work hard to get money to pay taxes and buy groceries. This connects to myself because one time I had to do my regular chores and extra chores before I could invite my friends to come sleep over. So I had to work hard to earn what I get and not just get it like that like someone who is really spoiled. You have to work hard and earn it, just like the declaration of independence you have to do all your responsibilities first.
The most important part of the declaration of independence is that it got signed and instead of our country belonging to Britain, it is a free nation. Therefore, letting us do what we always desired. This reminds me of a contract. This reminded me of a contract because you have to sign something that you want to have done. For instance, you have to sign a contract that you are married. Just like the declaration of independence you had to get it signed for our nation to be free. This connects with my parents. I used to think that reading about the declaration of independence was boring to read, but now I'm realizing that if really important to our country today and back then.

If we didn't have the articles of confederation our government would still be weak today and that wouldn't be good for us today because of how our economy is and plus, they probably didn't have enough supplies for stuff that we need today. I learned that on March 4, 1789 the United States of America replaced the articles of confederation. This reminded me of my fish. For instance, one time my brother and I fought over a cookie. Then my mom broke us up and broke the cookie in half, so we both get a piece of cookie. So what my mom really did was balance it out so we both, my brother and I, get a even amount of a piece of cookie.

This reminded me of my mom and dad because, like I already told you, you have to sign a contract saying that you are married. So it's kind of like a convention but it's not. It is a ceremony. This reminded me of this because it said that the members signed the United States constitution, and my parents had to sign a contract saying that they're married. This also reminded me of the ceremony because a convention is kind of like a ceremony, kind of.
Without the United States of constitution we wouldn't have the strong powerful government that we still have today. We would still have the weak government that we had before. This remind. Once it ruins the house construction workers can help build a new and stronger house. Just like our new powerful government. If the construction workers didn't build a new powerful house where would we live? Just like what would we do with a weak government? So if the members didn't sign the constitution then we wouldn't have a new powerful government.
I learned that that the constitution helped us get a new powerful, and stronger government that we still have today. This reminded me of my old house and my new house. This reminded me of my new house and my old house because, our old house wasn't really good. It had many problems like, the toilet bowl wouldn't flush all the way and the washer machine didn't wash the clothes that good. Same thing with the dish washer, it wouldn't clean the dishes that well. When we moved into our new house, for us it was like of course, new, and it was better, stronger. The best part was that it didn't have that much problems. This reminded me of this because we got a new stronger government.
If I was the author of these documents, I would feel nervous because I would be helping the colonists but, there are some people who would be mad and try to hunt me down and I wouldn't want to be hunted down at such a young age. I would also feel happy and good at the same time because, I know that I am helping the people who have to suffer a slave away while king George sits back and throws all of his ugly taxes on the poor colonists. That is how I would feel. Oh yeah and by the way, this is the first time I was actually interested in social studies. Yippie!
